Datatec, the international Information and Communications Technology (ICT) company, was officially welcomed to the OTC Market's premier tier, OTCQX trading platform in the USA on 6th November, ringing the bell in the time-honoured way to mark its admittance.
Datatec aims to broaden access for international investors and to grow and diversify its shareholder base. The OTCQX's access to the largest pool of capital across the full spectrum of U.S. investors was an ideal way to achieve this, Datatec said. More than 12 000 U.S. and international securities from over 50 recognised global exchanges trade on the OTC Markets Group platform.
The OTCQX platform offers trading of shares from qualified international exchanges for U.S. investors, during U.S. trading hours, using share prices quoted in U.S. dollars. Datatec shares have been trading on the platform since 30 April this year, under the symbol "DTTLF" and can be accessed on www.otcmarkets.com.
